Anodea Judith

Anodea divides her time between traveling across the country as a popular workshop presenter and retreating to her northern California home, where she conducts a private healing practice, and continues her research and writing. In addition she continues to teach chakra workshops, alone and with Selene Vega, and to train other practictioners in the use of this work.

Anodea's background includes a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Rosebridge School of Integrative Therapy, a doctorate in Health and Human Services, (focused on mind-body health) from Columbia Pacific University, with additional doctoral work in Systems Theory at Saybrook University. Her studies in healing have included Bioenergetics, trauma recovery, yoga therapy, hypnotherapy, acupressure massage, Gestalt, standard psychotherapy, clairvoyant reading, yoga, Reiki. Her shamanic spiritual training led to ordination in 1985 through the Church of All Worlds.

Anodea has conducted a private healing practice in California for 20 years. Her modes of working have changed and evolved many times over this period, moving from primarily bodywork through psychotherapy, to the present combination of psyche and soma, which she calls Mind-Body Integration. Her work with the chakras adds the spiritual dimension to the presently growing field of Somatic Therapy.

And finally, on the more personal level, Anodea Judith is a dynamic individual with many talents: teacher, healer, priestess, musician, artist, wife and mother, she is well-loved for her integrating work with mind, body, and spirit. She feels deeply concerned about the state of our world, in terms of ecology, ethics, politics, and religion. Feeling that transformation occurs on both an individual and cultural level, Anodea supports a path to empowerment and balance through teaching of life-affirming paths of wisdom. This is achieved through a reclamation of our bodies and minds, the environment, and our connection to the powers of Heaven and Earth. She is a dynamic and experienced speaker, workshop presenter, and visionary, dedicated to healing our world and evolving human consciousness.
