Dena MacMynowski

Dena MacMynowski, D.Phil is an Energy Healer and Soul Guide. Her practice is devoted to assisting people on the soul’s journey – the discovery, living, and full embodiment of the unique essence of each life on earth.
The poet David Whyte states “There is only one life you can call your own and a thousand others that you can call by any name you want.”
Her intent is to enliven, enlighten, and enable each client’s connection to their one true life. The work crosses and addresses all planes of existence – the physical, the emotional, the psychological, and the spiritual – depending upon the desires and needs of those who come.
Dena works through three principles: Joy, Love, and Alignment. In restoring the harmony between each of these, in the body, the heart, and the psyche, the deepest gifts and the spiritual perfection of each client can be manifested in family, work, and community.
Dena’s practice is drawn from the experiences of a spiritual path over the past 10 years. She works extensively with her long-time healing partner, Paul E. Bever, on many clients and complex cases. Dena and Paul use a synergism of their insight and energy to create new doorways and potentials for the body to heal, the mind to clarify, and the divine light to radiate. All possible tools and perspectives are brought to the healing table, with an allopathic background from biochemistry, metabolic pathways, and physiology creating a bridge with approaches to the human energy system through chakras, meridians, and the auric field.

Dena brings experience from academic science, entrepreneurship, wilderness exploration, and many avenues of spiritual study. She has traveled worldwide researching the relationships between human civilization, nature, and how we understand and create our social realities.
Dena owned and operated her own wholesale business for eight years before becoming an environmental scientist. She is a Rhodes Scholar and received her doctorate from Oxford University. After several years as a researcher at Stanford University, she turned her attention fully to her heart’s path as a healer, artist, and visionary. Over the past 10 years, she has studied meditation, energy healing, Continuum movement, and ecocentric depth psychology. Some of the primary influences on her spiritual life are Malcolm Ringwalt, Bill Plotkin, and Anna Wise. Her healing work is essentially intertwined with her intellectual and spiritual explorations of psyche, energy, consciousness, and wild nature. Paul Bever, Sarah McCroskey, and Gerald Cohen have been her greatest teachers and guides in the art and science of healing.
