Here are two photos of the Hall of Earth and the Hall of Mirrors, just two amazing rooms of the Temples of Humankind.
Damanhur is a spiritual community located at the foothills of the Italian Alps north of Turin. Founded in the early 1970's by a small group of visionary individuals who dreamed of a society based on optimism and the belief that human beings can be the masters of their own destiny. Damanhur is now an internationally renowned center for spiritual and social research; a spiritual school of thought which has given life to a new society.
Damanhur is a federation of communities. A sound social and political structure, an enlightened constitution, its own currency, a daily paper, over 50 economic activities and services, internal schools and a spiritual university that creates a luminous and stimulating environment for a progressive civilization.
Damanhur is changing ways of thinking, to transform planetary consciousness, and to reach above and beyond all that has already been achieved throughout human history. Damanhur is well known because its' citizens have built the Temples of Humankind, considered to be the 8th wonder of the world. Located in the heart of a mountain, where four synchronic lines meet (rivers of energy that encircle the planet), the Temples are a subterranean work of art, a great three-dimensional book, carved by hand. Every angle, every measure, every form and every color have a precise significance and function. The Temples serve as the host and medium for contact with Divine Forces. Here there is a laboratory where art, science, technology and spirituality are united in the search for new paths of evolution for all humanity.
