Guy Doran

Guy R. Doran, D.C., is a dedicated and caring Doctor of Chiropractic. His practice is located in Los Altos, California. Dr. Doran has a unique keenness for capturing what other doctors have missed, i.e., he is known as the Doctor's Doctor.
Some of his extensive educational background includes graduation from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1981. He is a Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) and a Chiropractic Rehabilitation Doctor (CCRD). His broad experiential background includes 3 years of hospital work in General Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Intensive Care and Psychiatric Counseling in the U.S. Navy. He also worked as a Recreational Therapist at Mercy Hospital in San Diego. Dr. Doran studied Visceral Manipulation with Jean-Pierre Barral DO, and uses the gifts of these teachings in his practice.
He has lectured on Sport’s Injuries, soft tissue injuries and rehabilitation to doctors and health practitioners nationally and internationally. He was on the Board of Directors at Palmer West Chiropractic College (formerly known as Northern California Chiropractic College) in San Jose. All of his affiliations continue to contribute greatly to the high level of care he gives to his patients.
Dr. Doran served as postgraduate Instructor for the Cleveland College of Chiropractic in Kansas City, Missouri, Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, and many other Chiropractic institutions. He also serves as a back consultant to major companies such as Wells Fargo Bank, Northwest Airlines and United Airlines. He has received many awards for his outstanding service, including the Robert Botterman Award for Community Service, presented by the Santa Clara Chiropractic Association.
Dr Guy Doran had a radio show on Business radio 1220 for 3 years that broadcasted to 8 Million homes. He has been on Channel 11 for helping children with gait disorders and was a host on Comcast Cable TV for 2 years, delivering messages of health throughout Northern California.
