Hank Wesselman

Anthropologist and evolutionary biologist Hank Wesselman, PhD., is the author of The Journey to the Sacred Garden (Hay House, January 2003), as well as the critically-acclaimed Spiritwalker Trilogy -Spiritwalker (1995), Medicinemaker (1998) and Visionseeker (2001).

A native New Yorker, he has worked for much of the past 30 years with an international team of Hank Wesselman, Ph.D.scientists, exploring Eastern Africa's Great Rift Valley in search of answers to th! e mystery of human origins. He has also taught for the University of Hawai'i at Hilo, for the University of California at San Diego, for California State University at Sacramento, and for American River College and Sierra College in the greater Sacramento area where his most popular class is focused on the role of religion and magic in the lives of traditional people. He is also a shaman in training, now in the 20th year of his apprenticeship.
