John Rhodes

John Rhodes, America’s most controversial cryptozoologist and pioneer in the field of reptoid “alien” studies, came from a family that loved adventure and travel. He lived in several countries, including Europe, war torn 1960's Saigon, Vietnam, and embattled 1970's Beirut, Lebanon. John was educated in British boarding schools in Malaysia, England and the U.S. where he attended a California university with studies in science.

Before undertaking his zoological pursuits, John worked as a professional actor and political activist in NYC during the 1980's, and for a brief period as a Boeing 727 crew member for a charter airline in Nevada. Although he enjoyed flying, John left the aviation industry in the 1990's to take his personal scientific interests a step beyond the boundary of “acceptable” crypto-pursuits to investigate eyewitness accounts describing encounters with a cryptid reptilian-humanoid animal species called, “Reptoids.” John founded the Reptoids Research Center (@Reptoids.com) in early 1997, thereby establishing the world’s first communications site dedicated to the cryptozoological search for intelligent reptilian life.

Today, as England’s leading cryptozoologist Karl Shuker states, John Rhodes is considered the “...foremost authority on Reptoids.” His pioneering work directing the public’s attention to terrestrial zoology in the search for other-than-human intelligent “alien” life and his logical, down-to-Earth perspectives have made him a controversial and popular name amongst serious UFO conspiracy theorists.
