Lila
Rajiva is a co-author (with Bill Bonner) of “Mobs,
Messiahs, and Markets.” She is
previously the author of “The
Language of Empire: Abu Ghraib and the American
Media,” (Monthly Review Press,
December, 2005), a political best-seller in Canada and Germany and a reference
work at around 300 universities and colleges from Yale to St. Andrews and
Amherst.
She has
contributed to “One
of the Guys: Women as Aggressors and Torturers,”
ed. Tara McKelvey and Barbara Ehrenreich,
Seal Press, 2007 as well as to academic journals in philosophy and politics.
She has
taught media studies and music. Her popular writing includes 75 articles for
Dissident Voice, Counterpunch, The Daily Reckoning, India-West, Outlook
