LECTURE: INSIDE ENGLAND'S RENDLESHAM FOREST INCIDENT: The Best Case Out There
Twenty five years after the fact, England's Rendlesham Forest UFO incident remains the best documented and potentially most significant case in the annals of ufology. Why? Among the significant reasons why are: major military involvement; ground-to-air sightings; radar confirmations; dramatic changes to soil and foliage; retina burns; evidence of abduction; numerous, credible military and civilian witness accounts; passport suspension; beams of light penetrating a NATO base's (nuclear) Weapons Storage Area; exposure of a major nuclear treaty violation; and numerous live, subpoena-able former USAF eyewitnesses. With PowerPoint and video, the incredible details will be presented from America's best informed incident-related investigative writer, Peter Robbins
WORKSHOP: INSIDE ENGLAND'S RENDLESHAM FOREST INCIDENT, PART II: Beyond Bentwaters
Peter's workshop picks up where his lecture, "The Best Case Out There," leaves off. It will focus on parts of the Rendlesham Forest story that never made it into the British best seller, LEFT AT EAST GATE, and with good cause. They include some of the more unnerving, intense, and otherwise memorable episodes of a sweeping nine year investigation. The workshop's second half will address best lessons learned in thirty years of serious UFO studies; origins of this investigator's involvement; outstanding teachers and mentors; some thoughts on my longtime association with Budd Hopkins; memories of several particularly unnerving and compelling UFO cases; practical advice on developing your investigative skills; some memories of his abductee sister, Helen; and some reflection on the lives and deaths of my friends John Mack and England's Graham Birdsall. Open discussion will be encouraged. All questions will be welcomed and answered to the best of Peter's ability.
