Now, Santa Cruz, California author, musician and teacher Bahia Brunelle has become engaged to do her part to help end hunger in our world by publishing a collection of her poems entitled “Community Spirit” to raise funds for The Second Harvest Food Bank.

Her book … One “Community Spirit” is a poetic celebration of our local and global communities. Each page is a tribute to the positive potential of the human spirit. Since the early 1970’s The Food Bank has been providing meals for individuals and families who are in need. With centers throughout the United States, this organization delivers food to millions of people each year. The Food Bank mobilizes individuals, companies, and community partners to connect people to the nutritious food they need; more than half of the food distributed is fresh produce. Second Harvest also plays a leading role in promoting federal nutrition programs and educating families on how to make healthier food choices. Presently, all proceeds from the sale of this book “Community Spirit” are being donated to The Second Harvest Food Bank.

Bahia’s lovely poems and songs have been heard on Hayhouse Radio, KKUP, KZSC and other stations around the world. Her many books include The Adventures of Frankie More, The World of Sunny C and Turtle and the Daily Lessons of Infinite Love and Gratitude, which was co-written with best-selling author Dr. Darren R. Weissman.

Bahia Brunelle cherishes being a writer because it brings her in constant contact with people who share her vision of a world that is abundantly abundant for everyone!
