Interview with Dr. Bruce Lipton (11/20/2008)

Hot Hot Hot! … The latest implications of Dr. Bruce Lipton’s work along with other leading edge research scientists have examined in great detail the way by which our cells receive information. This information radically changes our perspective on life as it is now being shown that genes and DNA do not control our biology; instead the DNA is controlled by signals from outside the cell, including the energetic messages emanating from our positive and negative thoughts. Can we grasp on all levels what this means? Well, Dr. Lipton’s profoundly hopeful synthesis of the latest and best research in cell biology and quantum physics is being hailed as the most major breakthrough showing us that our bodies can be changed as we retrain our thinking!

Some of our questions to him will be …

How long does it take to clean up one’s thinking? Silly question, but is it a gradual process or can it be done overnight in some cases?

Do they have technology to help people retrain their thinking?

What were some of the results that individuals had after realizing they had this kind of control?

Dr Lipton has a new audio book out, “Spontaneous Evolution, Our Positive Future (and a way to get there from here).”

Bruce, we are ready for this new way!

  1. This is an eternal question. Genes do matter. However, I am a firm believer that we cannot make our genes the ‘scapegoat’ for our behavior. We can change ourselves. That is what evolution and growth is all about. Just because our parents had diabetes or arthritis does not mean that we must necessarily have the same, or accept these diseases as our fate. We can change our physical and mental self through exercise, diet and meditation. Even if we do get the diseases, we can reduce their impact. We cannot ignore our genetic make-up. There are people who are blessed with good health and looks and brains. However, we can definitely work on what we have and bring about changes. It would be too fatalistic to accept everything as a given. What is life without moving on, making change, reinventing ourselves?

  2. Yes, I believe our genes are changed by our intentions and actions. I started repeating positive ideas in my mind since the 80’s after reading the Seth books. I’ve seen things change for me in a positive way. My mind is generally clear now and its easy to meditate, even in the dentist’s chair which I experienced earlier this year.

Last Christmas Eve I had a momentous psychic experience and a golden light treatment at the end of it which cleared up the glaucoma and other stuff I’d had for years. I emailed you a few months back asking if you had heard of anyone else with a similar experience, but didn’t get any reply…

I enjoy hearing your program on KKUP most every week. Thanks for the good positive info. Doug
