Interview with Howard Martin (September 17, 2009)

If you have never heard of HeartMath before today … your heart will never forget about it after you do.

Our Guest today is Howard Martin, author, speaker, and one of the original leaders who helped Doc Childre found HeartMath.

HeartMath is an institution set up to advance human performance based on HeartMath’s scientific research – linking heart function with health, emotional well-being and intelligence. The HeartMath system provides simple solutions that empower people to transform negative emotions and improve their overall health and quality of life. HeartMath’s programs, techniques and technologies have also been proven to help increase academic, athletic, and business performance.

Howard Martin coauthored The HeartMath Solution and The HeartMath Method and has been with HeartMath’s world-wide training and consulting team since its inception and now is the Executive Vice-President of HeartMath.

Howard is also the producer of two award winning recordings including Doc Children’s Heart Zones which spent 50 consecutive weeks on Billboard Magazine’s music charts. Today he will be talking about a systematic approach to maintain coherence and emotional balance, and develop the heart’s intelligence. It may sound complicated, but the Institute of HeartMath has successfully created a very user-friendly approach that considers today’s challenges and time restrictions.

With the information Howard is about to share with us, hopefully you will take to heart, and really put it to use. This is way more than talk. It’s for our highest good and for the highest good of our work, our families, and our place in the world.

  1. I listened today to what I think was Howard Martin, talking about the Hathors from Egypt who he recieves wisdom from. But you were calling him Tom, so I’m not sure that is who i was listening to. I tuned in late, and didn’t hear him identified by name. But I am curious, so that is why i am writing to you….Thanks, Sean Nolan.
