Roberta Goodman – Dolphin Adventures (October 2, 2014)

Have you ever dreamt about swimming with Dolphins or would you just like a personal experience?

Our Guest, Roberta Goodman is here with us today, and will share some of her awesome adventures that she’s experienced with the dolphins.

Dolphins are literally her life!

Her journey with dolphins began in 1978 after reading Dr. John Lilly’s book, “Communication between Man and Dolphin.” Roberta eventially worked with Dr. Lilly at his Human Dolphin Foundation lab at Marine World/Africa USA in Redwood City, California, Roberta designed and performed communication experiments with the dolphins, Joe and Rosie. Her ultimate goal was to reunite the dolphins with their natural environment. As project director, Roberta moved Joe and Rosie to the Florida Keys and prepared them for their release back to the ocean. To this day Roberta is an advocate for releasing dolphins in captivity back to the wild.

Presently Roberta lives on the Big Island in Hawaii and takes people on wild dolphin swim adventures.

  1. Alan,Wonderful video! It really gives you a feel for what it’s like to be uadrewny. Larry’s going to like this video. Thanks! It’s almost like swimming with the dolphins in the wild which we read can be a life changing experience. (Peter Nathanson from the Dolphin Research Center in Key Largo, by the way, did give a talk at our local Lyric Theatre here years ago about the therapeutic work they do and it was fascinating.)Jane

  2. I’m not easily impressed. . . but that’s impressing me! 🙂
